local libraries by Ameren Utilities. You can check it out just
like a book. When you plug an applicance into the meter, it
measures how much electricity it takes to operate and even
calculates the cost. It can help you decide if it's time to
replace an older appliance for a newer, more energy effecient
model. It may also convince you that it's better to unplug or
turn off certain appliances when not in use.
